SHIPPING POLICY
All of our products are made with natural ingredients and without the use of preservatives. We make all of our tea cakes, cookies and brownies in small batches so we can maintain our quality control. Therefore our items are perishable, and in certain instances may require special handling. During the summer months, it may be required to ship our cakes with ice packs, but that does not affect the taste or quality of the product. In the event that ice packs are required a nominal charge will be added to your shipping cost.
We have selected UPS as our primary shipping vendor, and we use FEDEX as our backup vendor. All of the prices that you see quoted for each zone are based on UPS rates. We are only able to ship our items from Monday thru Thursday. If orders are placed on the weekend, they will be shipped on Monday afternoon. Saturday delivery is not available.
Orders shipped to an address in the State of Maryland may use Ground Service, and will generally arrive in 1-3 days, but this is not guaranteed. Since UPS Ground Service is not guaranteed to arrive on a specific date, you may use UPS 3 Day Select; UPS Next Day Air Saver or UPS 2nd Day Air. If you need to receive your items by a certain time/day, then it is best to use the overnight or second day air service, which is guaranteed. Please see the chart below for more information. ORDERS PLACED ON THURSDAYS WILL ONLY BE SHIPPED UPS NEXT DAY SAVER, so please keep that in mind when ordering.

* Guaranteed on time delivery between 3-4:30pm the next business day to commercial destinations where UPS Next Day Air is committed by 10:30am-12:30pm. Shipments to residential locations within the UPS Next Day Air Saver area are delivered by end of day. This service is not available to destinations where UPS Next Day Air is committed for end of day.
** UPS 2nd Day Air delivery is guaranteed to all 50 states and PR, by end of 2nd business day. Some shipments to and from certain locations may require additional time in transit.
UPS delivery confirmation, where a signature is required on a package, is available for an extra charge. Please contact our office for current information and charges.
If you have provided us with an email address, you will be notified when your items have been shipped. You will also be provided with a tracking number that you can check periodically thru www.ups.com. If there are any problems with the shipment of your items, please contact us immediately. Read our product FAQ’s for more information on serving and storing your tea cake, cookies and brownies once you receive them.
